Rev. Allen E. Warren and First Lady Warren
Reverend Allen Warren was born in Alamance County to the late Allen and Argrow Warren. Mrs. Linda Warren was also born in Alamance County to the late Herbert and Maggie Perkins. They have been married for Twenty-seven years and to their union, they have four children…Tyrone, Christopher, Christian and Geanna. They also have a granddaughter, Kaylisha.
In addition to being active in their Community, the Warren’s are both products of Alamance Community College of Alamance County in Burlington, North Carolina.
Mrs. Warren was employed by the Board of Elections for several years. Currently, she is employed by the Alamance County Health Department. She has served as the Director for the YPD at Wayman Chapel AME, President of the Youth Choir, Missionary Society and Coordinator for the Prince & Princess Contest in the AME Church.
Rev. Warren has served in the United States Navy, Concern Citizens, Alamance Civic Affairs, former Vice President of the Ministers Alliance of Alamance County; former Board Member of the Commission of Allied Churches of Alamance and the Chairman for Community Watch for Alamance County. He has received numerous awards as General Manager of Byrd’s Distribution Center for 18 years where he supervised over 70 employees. Reverend Warren is also an Honorary Member of the Burlington Police Department and the Chairman for the Sons of Allen in the Central District of the Western North Carolina Conference.
The Warrens have pastored: New Harris Grove AME Church, Hillsborough, NC; St.Stephen AME Church, Mt. Gilead, NC; Johnson Chapel AME Church in Mebane, NC; Springdale AME Church, Alamance, NC; Wayman Chapel AME in Graham, NC and have supplied at Quinn Chapel in Roxboro, NC and Mt. Zion in VA.
The Warrens enjoy spending time with their Family, reading, swimming, sports, fishing, traveling and game shows.
